He took a two-year course in Kadochnikov`s school in Krasnodar (1999-2001). A. A. Kadochnikov is a founder of Russian hand-to-hand fight. Valerey has been a trainer in Russian hand-to-hand fight in Tallinn since 1999. In July, 2001, worked on probation under the direct guidance of Alexey Alekseyevich Kadochnikov and Arcadey Kadochnikov in Onapa. Took part in St. Petersburg (1999), in Tver (2001), in Zvenigorod (2002), in Tula(2003).

The basic directions in trainings are: training adults in Russian hand-to-hand fight, as a real way of self-defense under unfavorable conditions, such as poor health, the adversary`s advantage in speed and force, and in case of group attack.
